What we hope for
We strive for the Make it Weird Workshop (MiWW) to continue building and growing its community of makers of all ages and skill levels. Through our core DIY principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Repair, our brand is rooted in the belief that creativity should be accessible to anyone and everyone.
It is no secret that early exposure to art, culture, and creativity usually fosters more confident, balanced, and simply more functional, well-rounded human beings. Honestly, to us, helping to create more of those is a wonderful outlook of the future.

Co-founder, CEO & Host
18+ years of experience as a writer, producer, and artistic “jack-of-all-trades” in Atlanta’s booming film industry.

He has worked on a lot of big fancy studio shows, but his heart will always be with indie films. At the end of the day, he’s just a dude trying to get the stuff in his head out into the world.
Thomas Korthuis

20+ years of entrepreneurship, creative, technology & marketing experience working on social impact projects
Thomas has been helping people, projects and within organizations that use their products, services, and influence to ultimately evoke local, regional, or global change. He also considers himself a cook, musician, and woodworker. The jury is still out on any of those…
